Halloween is Celebrated on Campus

Halloween is typically a month full of frightening scares and young trick or treaters. People usually come fully prepared in various costumes allowing their imaginations to run wild as they are a new identity for a day.

The same was true on Lincoln University's campus.

While there isn't a lot of off campus activity that takes place near Lincoln University, Halloween activities were regulated to campus.

The gymnasium was turned into a haunted house, as was Dickey Hall. These two attractions was more than enough to keep students on their feet for the Halloween festivities.

A week earlier, the movie "Paranormal Activity" was shown inside of the Student Building to about 115 students.

I am responding to the story about the ranking of Lincoln among Black colleges and universities. While I understand that a ranking of 27th out of 81 is not extremely poor, nevertheless, I had the impression that Lincoln was among the top 10 or 15 in that group. (Continued…)
