It's the new millennium Fatal Attraction. The movie "Obsessed" is sure to be a hit!
The female version of a hustler is back on the movie screen!
Beyonce Knowles-Carter, who everyone knows as the lovely wife of famous rapper Jay-Z is back from her impersonation of Etta James in the recent released film "Cadillac Records" to star in the upcoming blockbuster, "Obsessed".
"Obsessed" is a movie that centers around a young couple, with a son, a beautiful house and a good life. Beth Charles, who is played by Beyonce, is a loving wife to her husband, Derek Charles who is played by Idris Elba, who many probably know as Stringa Bell from the hit HBO series "The Wire."
Derek, a successful asset manager who has just received a huge promotion, is blissfully happy in his career and in his marriage to the beautiful Beth. But when Lisa, a temporary worker, played by actress Ali Larter, starts stalking Derek, everything he's worked so hard for, is placed in jeopardy.
The scene that captured me, and most people who are anticipating the release of this movie, is the scene when the temp is caught in the home of the wife. They meet face to face in this scene and all of Beyonce's well known fans will witness a different side of her.
Beyonce, The "Diva" that we all have come to know as the classy, sophiscated, well-mannered and behaved young lady, steps out of her norm. Fans, ya'll don't want to miss this!
In addition to Beyonce Knowles-Carter, Idris Elba and Ali Larter, other actors and actresses starring in this movie include Jerry O' Connell, Christine Lahti, Bruce McGill, Scout Taylor-Compton, Ron Rogge (II) and Derek Johnson.
Judging from movie previews, trailers and viewers opinions, "Obsessed" is going to do big numbers at the box office
If you haven't been to the movies in some time, or even if you have been recently, you need to go back to see this movie because this is one that many will be talking about over lunch, dinner and even at high end corporate meetings.
So if you're into action packed movies and you don't want to be left out and confused when all of your friends and family are discussing the movie, go see it!
