Freshman Brings Controversial Teachings to Campus
Reed is a proud Israelite who is on a mission

Everything that Reed teaches derives from the 1611 King James Version of the Bible. According to Reed, the Bible, or (as he defines) "a collection of books or records which record the nation of Israel," was written by and for the Israelites.
The Bible "is our connection as a people," Reed said. That is why it is so important for him to teach its words. Reed passionately explained, however, that what the Bible teaches has nothing to do with religion. "Religions, now, are lies. The Bible is antireligious," Reed said. Religion is fabricated and can be traced back to idolatry, paganism, and a man who created it, he said.
"This is not a religious thing. It is the truth. I am teaching the truth out of the scripture…what the Most High has said." "I didn't write it," Reed said with laughter.
Despite objections, Reed continues to teach the word of the "Most High." "It's not about me," Reed said. "Christ said feed my lambs. Because we (Israelites) are fed, or learned in the word of the Most High, now we are supposed to teach all other nations."
Reed admitted, however, that the pressures of campus life have made his journey a bit harder. Nevertheless, "I have a goal and I see something greater than what this world promises," he said.
Reed can be found teaching in Frederick Douglass Hall Lounge every other Sunday from 2pm to 5 pm. He has accumulated about five faithful participants and eventually wants to begin an organization to affect change at Lincoln University. Right now, however, he continues to act as a role model for his colleagues and encourages participation.
"I try to let people see Christ in me…that I move in Christ, I don't just speak it," he said.
